NTBC School of the Bible

Friday evenings are a time when our people come together to learn the Bible and enjoy Christian fellowship. Our pastor teaches on a specific theme and the entire group is invited to participate. We meet at our fellowship hall and usually enjoy refreshments during the school.

Some past series include:
Old & New Testament Survey
Baptist History and Distinctives
The Book of Revelation (verse-by-verse)
The Silent Years (between Malachi and Matthew)
Earnestly Contending for the Faith (Apologetics)

We have now begun a new series in the School of the Bible-- The Minor Prophets. This course will look at the books of the Old Testament beginning with Hosea and ending with Malachi. The purpose of this study is to learn of the message of God to His people. Also, attention is given to how these books fit into the drama of redemption through Jesus Christ. Please plan to attend our School of the Bible each Friday evening at 7:00 p.m.

There is no charge for these classes and each student will receive a handsome, durable binder full of lecture notes from our pastor as well as informative visual aides.

Bus Ministry

The Lord has blessed us to have a bus ministry led by people who truly have a heart for God and the children in our area. Each week children from all over the surrounding area are picked up by our buses and taken to Sunday School and Sunday morning preaching. Special activities are also planned regularly for our bus riders.

If you or your child live in the Maynardville area and would like to be picked up, please call our church office at (865) 922-8366

(Please note that due to government restrictions, we cannot transport any child four years old and under without a parent/legal guardian present)
